In The Healthcare Divide, FRONTLINE, NPR, and American University’s Investigative Reporting Workshop examine the market forces and uneven government support that are deepening the healthcare divide, with profits at some hospitals booming, while many others struggle to stay afloat.
From FRONTLINE producers Rick Young, Emma Schwartz and Fritz Kramer and NPR correspondent Laura Sullivan, this new investigation will offer a timely examination of why some hospitals are thriving and others are in dire shape, and what it means for patient care.
