Can Rape on the Night Shift Be Stopped? Live Chat Wed. 2 p.m. EST

Following up on the award-winning collaboration that produced Rape in the Fields/Violación de un Sueño in 2013, FRONTLINE, Univision, Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR), the Investigative Reporting Program (IRP) at UC Berkeley, and KQED have teamed up to uncover the sexual abuse of the undocumented women who clean the malls where you shop, the banks where you do business and the offices where you work.

Rape on the Night Shift is a collaborative investigation into the sexual abuse of female janitors across the U.S., and the steep price they sometimes pay to keep their jobs and provide for their families.

On Wednesday at 2 p.m. EST, we’re bringing together three of the journalists behind Rape on the Night Shift for a live chat to answer your questions. Join Reveal reporter Bernice Yeung, KQED Central Valley Bureau Chief Sasha Khokha, and Reveal producer Daffodil Altan to hear the story behind their year-and-a-half-long investigation. They’ll discuss their findings, field your questions and also touch on resources available for employers and employees in the janitorial industry.
