The scope of the News Corp. phone-hacking scandal is hard to grasp. It includes shocking allegations of invasion of privacy and journalistic impropriety as well as criminal allegations of obstruction of justice and bribery by employees and executives at Murdoch’s now-defunct News of the World.

In Murdoch’s Scandal, producers Lowell Bergman and Neil Docherty untangle the story by talking to three individuals who endured considerable intimidation from News International — the British arm of Murdoch’s empire — during their lonely battles to force the scandal into the light: Nick Davies, the reporter who broke the phone-hacking story for rival newspaper The Guardian; Labour MP Tom Watson, who keenly questioned Murdoch at his parliamentary hearing; and Mark Lewis, the lawyer for more than 80 alleged phone-hacking victims.

Who knew about the phone hacking, and when did they know it? Just how widespread was it? What took so long for the scandal to out? And what will all of this mean for News Corp. and Britain’s tabloid culture?

Lowell and Neil have been asking these and countless other questions for months.

Now it’s your turn. What are your questions for Lowell Bergman and Neil Docherty?

Join them for a live chat at 1 p.m. ET to discuss “Murdoch’s Scandal.”

We’ll be joined by guest questioner Sarah Ellison, a contributing editor at Vanity Fair and author of the acclaimed War at the Wall St. Journal: Inside the Struggle to Control and American Business Empire. You can follow her on Twitter @sarahlellison.

You can leave a question in the chat window below, and come by at 1 p.m. ET to join the live discussion.
