The team that produced Inside Obama’s Presidency has spent the past four years telling the story of the Obama White House. From Obama’s War to Obama’s Deal, The Choice 2008 to The Choice 2012, they’ve completed hundreds of interviews with a cast of characters spanning the capitol and the country.
Four years on, what have they learned about Barack Obama? And what do they think he’s learned about being the president? What surprised them about the first four years? How do they think Obama might approach his job differently in the next four? And how did they get access to insiders from such a secretive White House?
We’ve invited two of the film’s producers — Mike Wiser and Jim Gilmore — to answer these questions and take yours.
They’ll be joined by guest questioner Edward-Isaac Dovere, White House editor for Politico. Here’s a recent piece he wrote on “President Obama’s 2nd-term history lessons.”
You can leave a question in the chat window below, and come by on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. ET to join the live discussion.
