Tonight: “Divided States of America,” Part Two

I wrote yesterday about the premiere of Divided States of America, FRONTLINE’s four-hour series examining the Obama presidency and the country’s deepening polarization.

To make Divided States, filmmaker Michael Kirk and his team conducted dozens of interviews over hundreds of hours. They spoke to top White House officials, members of Congress from both parties, experienced reporters and other key experts.

At FRONTLINE, we have a tradition of publishing extended interviews from our films on our website. For this project, we are featuring 21 transcripts of some of the most insightful interviews.
