If you knew you were dying, what would you do with the time you had left?

For Debbie Whitmore, a young mother diagnosed with stage four colon cancer, the answer was simple: spend quality time, including a trip to Disney World, with her husband and four children.

Debbie and her family share their story in A Last Wish, an original FRONTLINE documentary short:

If you were in Debbie’s shoes and you knew your time was short, what would matter most to you?

It’s a question Dr. Atul Gawande, a surgeon and author of the best-selling book Being Mortal, encourages all of us to think about in his book and in tonight’s FRONTLINE film.

We want to hear from you. Share your thoughts in the comments below, or join our special conversation on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube using the hashtag #WhatMattersMost.

Your posts and photos using the #WhatMattersMost hashtag could end up on the FRONTLINE website and maybe even on air.

Plus, 50 randomly selected #WhatMattersMost participants will be entered to win a signed copy of the Being Mortal book.

Thanks for joining us for a wide-reaching, multiplatform conversation about #WhatMattersMost. We can’t wait to see what you have to say.
