Journalist
Mais Al-Bayaa is Emmy Award and Robert F. Kennedy Award-winning British Iraqi journalist. She has covered the humanitarian crisis and terrorism in the Middle East since 2003, with main focus on Iraq and Syria. Her films appeared on FRONTLINE (PBS), BBC, Channel 4, Arte and others. She produced “Iraq’s Secret Sex Trade” and “Iraq’s Assassins” for FRONTLINE and BBC. Mais has a master’s degree in Human Rights and International law from Kingston University in the UK and Masters degree in French Literature from Baghdad University.
