Former Tow Journalism Fellow, FRONTLINE/Newmark Journalism School Fellowships
Max Maldonado was a Tow Journalism Fellow from 2024-2025. He is a documentary filmmaker and audio journalist from New York City and West Palm Beach, Fla. A graduate of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, he reported on healthcare disparities, air pollution in the Bronx and the fading wetlands of Staten Island.
Before joining FRONTLINE, Max worked on the Center for Investigative Reporting’s Reveal podcast.
