Mstyslav Chernov is a Ukrainian filmmaker, war correspondent, videographer, photojournalist, and novelist. He is a Pulitzer Prize and Academy Award® winner known for his coverage of Ukraine’s revolution, the war in Donbas, the downing of flight MH17, the Syrian civil war, the battle of Mosul in Iraq, and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, including the siege of Mariupol.
