Philip Bennett

Former Special Projects Editor

Philip Bennett was FRONTLINE’s Special Projects Editor. He has spent more than 30 years as a foreign correspondent, newspaper editor and television journalist.

Since 2016 he has co-produced a dozen FRONTLINE films, including Divided States of America (2017), the Emmy award-winning The Choice 2016 and America’s Great Divide: From Obama to Trump (2020). As Special Projects Editor he launched FRONTLINE’s Transparency Project and works on investigative projects with newsrooms around the country as part of the FRONTLINE Local Journalism Initiative.
