Tow Journalism Fellow, FRONTLINE/Newmark Journalism School Fellowship
Sunny Nagpaul is a reporter who covers business, science, the climate, and politics. She focuses on how policy impacts marginalized communities and pursues investigations on systemic issues, like low wages, corporate concentration, and national policies.
She received her master’s degree in journalism in 2023 from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where she reported for two hyper-local publications in the South Bronx, addressing issues like Black maternal morbidity and mortality, mental health resources and Bronx fashion.
